I am Persephone, Queen of the Underworld, Goddess of Wisdom. I represent the power within yourself to go deep within and contemplate the darker and more uncomfortable aspects of your soul. Each Autumn I descend to the Underworld where I am Queen, and every Spring I return to the Earth to reunite with my mother Demeter. Take heart, there is Hope, because after every dark Winter comes the Light of Spring.
This Persephone wears a necklace of marbleized brown agate, a crown of Autumnal flowers, and has beautiful Autumn leaves strewn through her hair. Her body is a goldenrod cotton felt, and her luxurious hair is a multi-hued merino wool.
